Adding to the dashboard (Web Part page)
You can also add the following Web Parts to your dashboard. Remember that each must be con-
figured on your SharePoint 2013 farm; see Appendix A, “Running scripts to set up a demonstration
environment.”
Visio Web Access Web Part
Using Visio Services, you can embed Visio Web Drawings in other SharePoint pages. Using the Visio
Web Access Web Part, you can embed either static or data-driven Visio Web Drawings in SharePoint
pages.
PerformancePoint Web Parts
The following are available PerformancePoint Web Parts.
PerformancePoint Filters This Web Part displays PerformancePoint filters. Filters can be linked
to other Web Parts to provide an interactive dashboard experience. Filter types include lists
and trees based on a variety of data sources.
PerformancePoint Report This displays PerformancePoint reports. Reports can be linked to
other Web Parts to create an interactive dashboard experience. Report types include analytic
charts and grids, Strategy Maps, Excel Services, Reporting Services, Predictive Trend charts,
and webpages.
PerformancePoint Scorecard This Web Part displays a PerformancePoint scorecard. Score-
cards can be linked to other Web Parts such as filters and reports to create an interactive
dashboard experience.
PerformancePoint Stack Selector This displays a PerformancePoint scorecard. Scorecards
can be linked to other Web Parts such as filters and reports to create an interactive dashboard
experience.

The Web Part page
As a result of creating the Web Parts without positioning, your page will look similar to that shown in
Figure 10-25.
You can see how the Web Parts are interactive when published by clicking Stop Editing on
the Page tab. Note in that in the figure, we have selected Denmark to cascade and drill in on the
PerformancePoint Scorecard Web Part.
