You should end up with a PivotTable in your workbook similar to that shown in Figure 10-9.

To add a simple chart to the workbook, perform the following procedure:
1. Continuing with the same file you created in the preceding procedure, ensure that your cell
selection is located in the PivotTable and then, on the Insert tab, in the Charts group, click
Recommended Charts.
In the Insert Chart dialog box (see Figure 10-10), select the type of chart that you want to use.

You can select each to see a preview of it before selecting OK.
