In-Depth Information
A callout that displays the product name and number, the quantity sold, and the quantity in
stock
Color coding based on inventory levels.
A note for the technically inclined:
The callouts for each rack are not data-graphic callouts but were created by using Visio 2013
callouts that are found in the Diagram Parts group on the Insert tab of the Visio ribbon. Sev-
eral text fields were added to each callout.
The coloring of the hangers and the appearance of the “Running Low” and “Need to Restock”
messages are the result of behavior built into the rack shapes and their components. Each
shape or subshape includes ShapeSheet formulae that control the appearance of the shape
based on the values of shape data fields.
More Info For information about the Visio ShapeSheet, refer to the Appendix in Visio 2013
Step by Step ( http://www.VisioStepByStep.com ).

displays the item name, quantity sold and quantity in stock.
Creating a Web Part page
When your diagram is ready to be published you'll need a SharePoint Web Part page. To insert your
Visio diagram into a Web Part, open the target SharePoint site and then navigate to, or create, the
desired Web Part page. On the ribbon, on the Insert tab, click Web Part, choose the Business Data
category, and then select the Visio Web Access part, as depicted in Figure 9-48.
