To create a dashboard, perform the following procedure:

In the Workspace Browser, right-click PerformancePoint Content and then, on the menu that
appears, point to New. On the submenu that appears, click Dashboard.

In the Select A Dashboard Page Template dialog box (see Figure 8-52), select Header, 2 Col-
umns. (You can modify this later, after you create the dashboard.)

The zones mentioned at the bottom of this dialog box define how you can position score-
cards, reports, and filters on the dashboard.

In the center pane of the Dashboard Designer (see Figure 8-53), type a name for your dash-
board as it is highlighted in the Workspace Browser. You can drag scorecards, reports, and
filters from the Details pane.
