The Select A Scorecard Template dialog opens, presenting the following template options:
Microsoft An Analysis Services data source template
Standard A blank Scorecard template without predefined content or data mappings and
a Fixed Values Scorecard template where users can define values.
Tabular A template that includes all the options for tabular data sources, such as Excel,
ExcelServices, SharePoint List, and SQL Server table.
Note The word “tabular” is used differently here than when discussing Analysis Services
tabular data sources.
Select Microsoft Analysis Services and click OK.

A Create An Analysis Services scorecard is selected.
Select the AdventureWorks data source and then click Next.

Ensure that Create KPIs From SQL Server Analysis Services Measures is selected and click Next.

A screen appears, displaying two buttons on the top: Add KPI and Select KPI. Using Add KPI,
you can choose an existing KPI from the data source. If there is an existing KPI, you can make
more choices such as setting Actual, Band Method, and Targets.

For this example, select the KPI you created earlier in this chapter.
Click Select KPI and then, in the Select A KPI dialog box (see Figure 8-38), click OK.
