Add the Reseller Margin field from the Product table and the EnglishMonthName field from
the Date table to complete the table in the view.

On the Design tab, click Other Chart and then, on the menu that appears, click Scatter to con-
vert the table into the scatter chart visualization. If necessary, rearrange the fields in the layout
section, as shown in Figure 5-23.

5. Resize the scatter chart so that it fills the view.

6. Before you can view bubbles in the chart, you must filter the view to display a specific year. To
do this, drag CalendarYear from the Date table into the Filters pane to the right of the view
and select a year, such as 2006, as shown in Figure 5-24.

Note Notice that the Filters pane offers you the choice of View or Chart in this step. When
you filter the view, your filter criteria apply to all visualizations on the sheet, whereas criteria
for a chart filter apply only to the selected chart. Refer to the “Using the Filter pane” section
later in this chapter to learn more.
