Load data into the model
Upon clicking Open, your PowerPivot populates the tables in the model with headings. The data
might not be imported at this point because all you have done is load metadata. To import the data,
you must select the Model tab, point to Process, and then click one of the three options, as shown in
Figure 3-14.
Process Partitions Use this option if you have created partitions discussed in the next step
of modeling or extending and enhancing the existing data model.
Note Excel 2013 does not have partitions.
Process Table
Choose this if you only want to import data from a source into one table.
Process All Choose this if you want to import all data and data sources into all tables,
assuming that you have more than one table.
