The
Last
mode is used to select the last object drawn.

P (Previous)
The
Previous
mode is used to select the last selection set used.

To select all objects in the current fi le use

Deselect
If you select a group of objects, then you discover that one or two of the
objects were selected by mistake. How do you deselect them?
Simply hold the [Shift] key, click these objects, and they will be deselected.

Other Methods for Selecting Objects
There are other methods used to select objects that will make your life easier.
There is a good technique called the
Noun/Verb selection
, which will allow
the user to select an object fi rst and then issue the command.
