This busy, efficient hostel has rooms of varying quality: try to nab a space in one of the
newer rooms with beds, as opposed to the rather basic dorms with bunks. It's in a great
location: a residential neighbourhood at the edge of the town centre, and the facilities (kit-
chen, laundry) are very handy for self-caterers. Reception hours are limited.

We love the muted colours and the plush, old-style furnishings that give you the impres-
sion that you're adrift aboard a luxurious ship. Of the six categories of rooms, even the
modest 'Superstition' presents you with luxurious queen-size bunks that real sailors could
only dream of, while 'Passion' offers grander surroundings, velvet couches and his 'n' hers
showers.
