The ferry to Ulvön leaves Ullånger for Ulvöhamn via Docksta daily at 9.30am, returning
from Ulvöhamn at 3pm between June and August.

A spaceship suspended high above ground. A mirror cube reflecting sunlight and sur-
rounding spruce branches. A giant bird's nest…The six individually styled tree-rooms that
make up Sweden's most mind-boggling, award-winning lodgings sit just off Rte 97 in the
midst of pristine forest, with saunas and hot tubs to relax stiff muscles after a day of hik-
ing, kayaking or dogsledding.
The Treehotel came into being in 2010, inspired by the film The Tree Loverby Jonas Sel-
berg Augustsen, and its unique rooms were designed by some of Sweden's leading archi-
tects, such as Tham & Videgård and Bertil Harström, with an emphasis on minimal envir-
onmental impact and ecologically friendly construction. The toilets are a wonder all in
themselves. We have only one question: why is the Blue Cone red?
Guided tours of this architectural wonder are available on weekends at 1pm (Skr150)
and at other times by prior arrangement. Even if you don't stay in the Treehotel itself, you
can lodge at the retro

to a delicious weekday lunch buffet (11am to 3pm) at the cheerful cafe inside (open early
July until the end of August); three-course dinners are available on request.
