Öland's Southernmost Point
LANDMARK
Öland's southernmost point is a stark, striking spectacle of epic sky, sea and rock-strewn
pastures. A nature reserve almost surrounded by sea, it's justifiably popular with bird-
watchers. There's a free Naturum ( GOOGLE MAP ; 0485-66 12 00; www.ottenby.se ;

In the small village of Mörbylånga, this place has a mixture of hostel- and hotel-style ac-
commodation. The big, anonymous building is a bit hospital-like, but there's a pool and
plenty of space, with a park and beaches nearby, as well as bikes for hire.
