Grankullavik , in the far north, has sandy beaches and summer crowds; Lyckesand (

ancient barrows at the nearby Trollskogen Nature Reserve (Trolls' Forest; MAP

At Sandvik on the west coast, about 30km north of Borgholm, this Dutch-style windmill is
one of the largest in the world. In summer, you can climb its seven storeys for good views
across to the mainland. The rustic restaurant serves the local speciality, lufsa (baked pork
and potato; Skr75); and there's an adjacent pizzeria (pizzas from Skr80).
