Sleeping & Eating
There are no outstanding eateries, but there are a couple of pleasant ones.
Vandrarhemmet Oscar
HOSTEL
dm/s/d Skr180/305/410, hotel s/d Skr790/1060; )
This shiny hotel-hostel hybrid is a convenient budget option. Rooms have TV, fans and
bathrooms - only the kitchen for self-caterers gives it away as a hostel.
Steakhouse Oscar
STEAK
Skr195; 11.30am-2pm Mon-Fri, 5pm-midnight Tue-Fri, 3pm-midnight Sat)
Carnivores flock to this place with its meaty choices including rib-eye steak, pork tender-
loin and fillet of beef. There's a Skr99 lunch menu with just one choice, but you can bet it's
a good one (unless you're vegetarian).
Pub Kråkan
PUB
noon-11pm Tue-Fri, to midnight Sat & Sun; )
The oldest pub in town, with a suitably welcoming atmosphere and a superb range of ales
on tap and whiskeys. Also dishes up typical pub grub like burgers (and even the occasional
curry).
Information
There are ATMs at the Flanaden shopping centre.
