HOTEL
( 0487-348 30;

; Stora vägen 75; s/d Skr1100/2590; )
As befitting the best hotel in the Glass Kingdom, Kosta Boda Art Hotel showcases in-
spired glasswork in unusual ways - like a designer glass bar. Each of the 102 rooms also
features glasswork and textiles by Kosta Boda artists. Even if you don't stay the night,
drop in for the mouth-watering buffet lunch at the hotel's
Linnéa Art Restaurant
(
www.kostabodaarthotel.com
; buffet Skr245; noon-3.30pm)
.
Alternatively, inside the factory's outlet store (and open the same hours), the
Kosta
Boda Art Café
serves tasty quiches and grilled sandwiches for around Skr60.

; Stadshusplan;
9am-5pm Mon-
Fri, noon-4pm Sun)
is within the town hall.

Pukeberg
GLASSWORKS
(

; Pukebergarnas väg; 10am-5pm Mon-Fri, to 2pm Sat, noon-4pm Sun; )
Of the two glassworks in Nybro, the unfortunately named Pukeberg, just southeast of the
centre, is perhaps more interesting for its historic setting (dating from 1871).
Nybro
GLASSWORKS
(
www.nybro-glasbruk.se
; Herkulesgatan; 10am-5pm Mon-Fri, to 3pm Sat, 11am-2pm Sun; )
Nybro is a small glassworks specialising in quirky items (think Elvis Presley glass plat-
ters).
