BUS
The bus terminal is at ground level in Knutpunkten. Regional Skånetrafiken buses domin-
ate, but long-distance services are offered by Swebus Express (
0771-21 82 18;
www.swebus.se ) .
Swebus runs north to Göteborg, continuing on to Oslo, and south to Malmö. It also op-
erates services northeast to Stockholm via Jönköping and Norrköping. Fares to Stockholm
cost around Skr539 (7½ hours), to Göteborg Skr130 (three hours) and to Oslo Skr379
(seven hours).
TRAIN
Underground platforms in Knutpunkten serve SJ, Pågatågen and Öresundståg trains, which
depart daily for Stockholm (Skr695, five to seven hours), Göteborg (Skr285, 2½ to three
hours) and nearby towns including Lund (Skr84, 25 minutes), Malmö (Skr103, 40
minutes), Kristianstad (Skr103, one hour and 20 minutes) and Halmstad (Skr125, one
hour), as well as Copenhagen (Denmark) and Oslo (Norway).
Getting Around
Bike hire (per day/week Skr120/550) is available at Travelshop ( GOOGLE MAP ; 042-12

ten. Town buses cost Skr17 and run from Rådhuset (the town hall). Contact Avis (

KULLA ON HORSEBACK
One great way to experience the broad fields, woodlands and coastal scenery of the Kulla
Peninsula is on horseback. There are a few farms to choose from, running trips ranging
from a few hours to several days. Kullabergs Islandshäster ( 042-33 52 44;
www.kullabergsislandshastar.com ) does 1½- and 2½-hour trips (Skr500/650), or there's a
four-hour lunch expedition to Mölle (Skr1050). Hippo Tours ( 042-88 04 66;
www.hippotours.se ) focuses on luxury weekend getaways (Skr3500), including a night at
the historic boutique Hotel Rusthållargården in the picture-perfect fishing village of Arild.
Both farms use smooth-gaited Icelandic horses.
