On a sandy beach on the Getterön peninsula, tent spaces sit cheek by jowl with caravan
spots and rows of self-contained summer cabins. It does get busy during high season,
when most cabins are available only on a weekly basis (from Skr2450).

This one-of-a-kind hotel is bursting with quirky details that include an elevator shaft
covered in pulp-fiction covers and the basement Lenin Baths (open to nonguests) - a bath-
house that's a replica of the 19th-century St Petersburg version inside a former girls' board-

candlelit jacuzzi.
