Eating & Drinking
There are supermarkets and a Systembolaget liquor store on Storgatan.
Frick's Konditori CAFE
( www.frickskonditori.se ; Stora Torget; sandwiches from Skr45)
An old-fashioned bakery-cafe with a casual, neighbourhoody feel, Fricks offers sand-
wiches, quiches and salads but specialises in decadent cakes and pastries. It's opposite the
train station and is a local gossip hang-out.
Jöns-Andersgården
SWEDISH, ITALIAN
(
0248-130 15; www.jonsandersgarden.se ; Bygatan 4; mains Skr165-255;
5-10pm late May-Aug;
74)
If you can stir your stumps and make it up the hill, you'll find this rather sweet restaurant
tucked at the top, attached to the hotel of the same name. Dishes such as lemony chicken
with gremolata potatoes, shellfish canneloni, or herb-and-parmesan roasted lamb over
gnocchi bring a taste of Italy to this very Swedish establishment.

Dalhalla CONCERT VENUE

October, on nonconcert days you can tour the theatre at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm (Skr125).
