This large manor house is 20km north of Torsby, by a stunning lake. Rooms are individu-
ally and tastefully decorated, and there are hostel beds in little cabins and campsites on the
grounds as well. Hostel breakfast is Skr65 extra. There's also a guest kitchen. Family-size
groups can rent a self-catering apartment (Skr1200, sleeps up to six).

With its child-friendly beach, playgrounds and minigolf, this large, well-equipped lakeside
campsite (5km south of town along Rd 45) is a popular family spot. There's a variety of
huts and chalets for rent, including a cool 'studio' cottage with a lake-facing picture win-
dow (Skr1190).

Cosy Örnen is a pretty lemon-coloured place set behind a white picket fence in the town
centre. Cheerful, homey Swedish-style rooms practically vibrate with wholesomeness and
folky charm.

This homey cafe on the main drag feels like an auntie's living room, complete with family
portraits on the walls.
