The no-nonsense Uppsala City Hostel is recommended for its sheer convenience - you
really can't stay anywhere more central for these prices. Rooms, all named after famous
Uppsala landmarks, are small but decent (although dorms suffer from traffic and level-
crossing noise). There's wi-fi access in parts of the hostel. Breakfast costs Skr50, and a kit-
chen is available.
