Taking a tour can be an efficient way of getting a handle on Stockholm's highlights. For a
unique perspective, try seeing the city from the water or from up in the air.
Strömma Kanalbolaget BOAT TOUR

This ubiquitous company offers tours large and small, from a 50-minute cruise around
Djurgården (Skr170) to a three-hour 'brunch cruise' including a decadent buffet (Skr450).
There are also hop-on, hop-off tours by bus (from Skr260), boat (Skr160) or both
(Skr350).
Best bet: 'Under the Bridges of Stockholm' (Skr225), a two-hour canal tour running
daily 10am to 7pm mid-April to October. Book tickets ahead if possible, as this tour some-
times sells out.
Millennium Tour WALKING TOUR

Fans of Stieg Larsson's madly popular crime novels ( The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo etc)
will enjoy this walking tour pointing out key locations from the topics and films. Buy tick-
ets or a self-guided tour map (Skr40) at the Stadsmuseum gift shop. From July to Septem-
ber there's also a tour at 6pm on Thursday.
Stockholm Ghost Walk WALKING TOUR

This 90-minute walking tour features tales of murder, mayhem, hauntings and executions,
narrated with gusto by multilingual costumed guides. The walk starts at Järntorget in
Gamla Stan. Dinner packages available (from Skr575 per person). Check online for tour
availability on particular days.
