Arrow buttons control the rotation of the gargoyles. They can spin clockwise or counter-
clockwise. The spotlight is an imported PNG file. The panel at the bottom of the Stage
displays information unique to each gargoyle. It can also be hidden by clicking on the
About tab (Figure 11.18).

Double-click on the panel movie clip instance to open its Timeline (Figure 11.19). The
animation that hides the panel is a motion tween. Using a Mask layer, the contents of
another layer can be revealed or hidden. In this example, the information panel ani-
mates up or down within a mask shape.

The mask also hides a button that turns the music on and off. The button is made up
of two parts—a button symbol and dynamic text (Figure 11.20). The text changes to
reflect the status of the music.
