This chapter focused on creating simple 3D objects in Flash. The exercises incorporated
ActionScript to create objects that can be moved, rotated, and scaled interactively. Now
that you have finished reading the chapter, you should be able to
• Create planar shapes with lines and fills
• Extend planar shapes to extruded objects
• Create 3D solids defined by lines
• Develop 3D solids defined by planes
The next chapter focuses on how you can integrate the more sophisticated 3D graphics
available with other software into Flash.
