Exercise 7.3: Extending an Information Space Functionality
In this exercise we will look at extending the functionality and information value of the
example just discussed. The screen will start out the same as shown in Figure 7.17
with the flags randomly placed in 3D space over a map of Europe. What we would like
to have happen is that, unlike the previous example, the selected flag will come to the
front and be fully displayed as in Figure 7.18. We'll use a combination of viewer move-
ment and flag movement.
Step 1: Getting started
Open 7_3_flagCam.fla in the Chapter 7 folder. The file is a duplicate of the example
we just discussed. We'll start by making a small change near the top of the script. It
