In-Depth Information
the observed reduction in filament density toward the back of the lamellipodia
and the realignment of filaments parallel to the direction of cell migration that
occur at the back of the lamellipodia.
Overall, it can said that intracellular mechanical factors couple with biochemical
factors in the regulation of actin filament dynamics, and in doing so, contributes to
the regulation of cell motility.
