One important thing to keep in mind when collecting content from others is
copyright. Because presumably you don't want to make anyone mad or get sued,
it's a good idea to include some kind of disclaimer on your blog about material us-
age. For example, on charmingly addictive The Baby Animal Blog website at ht-
tp://thebabyanimalblog.tumblr.com , shown in Figure 3-4, the author has
posted a disclaimer that reads, “I take no credit for any of these pictures.”
There are many different ways you can word this basic idea, of course, but here's a gen-
eral suggestion of what you might want to say on your site:
DISCLAIMER: All the [pictures/videos/songs—you fill in the blank] featured on this
website belong to their respective owners. If you see your [pictures/videos/
songs—you fill in the blank] featured and do not want it here, please email us with
link and we will remove it right away.
