The timing of livestock grazing affects soil surface hydrology and physical qual-
ity, thus influencing soil hydrologic function (Stavi et al. 2011). Soil properties were
measured in a paddock under rotational grazing during the growing season only
and compared with those under grazing during the dormant season and rotational
