Connecting to a Wireless Network via wpa_gui
The simplest way to connect to a wireless network from the Raspberry Pi is to use the
wpa_gui tool. This provides a graphical user interface for software that would otherwise
require the use of the terminal, and is accessed from the desktop by double-clicking on the
icon labelled WiFi Config.
The main wpa_gui window has two drop-down lists, labelled Adapter and Network (see
Figure 5-4). The first should be already filled with your wireless network dongle's identifier,
wlan0 . If you have more than one dongle connected, you can click on the arrow to choose
which you are configuring; if nothing is listed, turn back a few pages and make sure the firm-
ware for your dongle is correctly installed.
