When you're applying build options, you can choose the opposite result by selecting the {not …} option. This
helps avoid having to create two build options that are always the reciprocal of each other.
Note
The Access Log region is now run only when the Development Only build option status is set to Include. You can
apply build options to other APEX objects using the same process.
Reporting on Build Option Utilization
Build options can be applied to most APEX objects including pages, regions, page items, tabs, and so on. It can
become difficult to keep track of which objects use which build options in applications. The build option Utilization
report enables you to easily view which objects are using a particular build option. This report can be very helpful
when you're trying to get an overview of the impact that a build option has on the application.
To view the build option Utilization report, go to Shared Components Build Options. Click the Utilization tab,
and select the Development Only build option, as shown in Figure 13-21 . The link in the description column brings
you to the specific object that is using the build option.
