The cycling culture is another example of Denmark's green outlook. Copenhagen has
around 430km of continuous, safe cycle paths, and 52% of all Copenhageners cycle to
their place of work or education every day. The network of paths continues to expand and
improve - beautifully illustrated by the innovative Cykelslangen elevated bike track over
the harbour, which opened in mid-2014.
