including Legoredo Town , a Wild West area that's home to a cool new haunted house;
Knights' Kingdom , where a medieval castle awaits; Pirate Land , which hosts ships,
sword-play and a swimming area; Adventure Land , a strange hybrid of Indiana Jones
meets Egypt; Polar Land , with a big new roller coaster and a penguin habitat; and Duplo

For some downtime stop by Atlantis , an aquarium built around Lego models of divers
and submersibles. For the chilled park-goer there are placid rides, from merry-go-rounds
to a tranquil train ride; adrenalin-junkies should seek out the roller coasters. Once the en-
trance fee is paid, all rides are free - the only exception is the SEAT Driving School
(Dkr70), for kids aged seven to 13.

Adding to the extreme family-friendly focus of Billund is Lalandia, a showy entertainment
complex that's like Vegas for kids (there's also a Lalandia in southern Lolland). This huge
roofed complex (where the sky is always blue and temperature warm) is free to enter -
once inside, you pay for activities such as the Aquadome waterpark, Monky Tonky play-
land, minigolf, tenpin bowling and a smorgasbord of sports activities. There are free kids
concerts, too, and a handful of restaurants and shops.
There's also an associated estate of holiday houses for rent ('residents' access the
Aquadome and Monky Tonky for free) - see the website for more information.
