AARHUS IN…
TWO DAYS
Start by mixing the old with the new at Aarhus' two big-ticket attractions -
ARoS
for
cutting-edge art and architecture,
Den Gamle By
for a taste of yesteryear. Finish with al-
fresco dinner along Åboulevarden. Next day, visit the remarkable
Moesgård Museum
,
then return to town to visit the
cathedral
and poke around the Latin Quarter, where you'll
have no trouble finding a cool spot to refuel or hear live music.
FOUR DAYS
Follow the two-day itinerary, and on the third day grab a free city bike and venture further
afield, south to
Marselisborg
, or north to
Risskov
. Take your swimsuit if it's warm
enough. Later, check out the boutiques and restaurants of the
Frederiksbjerg
neighbour-
hood. On day four, consider taking a train or bus to check out the waterways of
Silkeborg
or the beaches or funparks of
Djursland
.
Tours
It's worth checking with VisitAarhus to see if any summertime walking tours are sched-
uled.
