Bus 915X is a handy service, connecting Esbjerg with Ribe (Dkr60, 30 minutes) before
travelling on to the southeast Jutland town of Sønderborg (Dkr180, 2½ hours), via Gråsten.
CAR
Esbjerg is 77km north of Tønder, 31km northwest of Ribe, 59km southwest of Billund and
92km west of the Funen-Jutland bridge.
If you're driving into Esbjerg, the E20 (the main expressway from the east) leads direc-
tly into the heart of the city and down to the ferry harbour.
TRAIN
There are regular services running south to Ribe (Dkr60, 35 minutes) and Tønder (Dkr110,
1½ hours); and east to Kolding (Dkr99, 45 minutes) and Aarhus (Dkr265, two hours).
Getting Around
Most city buses can be boarded at the train station; it's Dkr20 for a local ticket (available
from the driver). Bus 5 runs to the harbour every 20 minutes.
