Odense offers good-value and well-located budget and midrange accommodation but is
less well served at the higher end. The large hotel chains in town generally don't inspire,
and in many cases are not very central.
It's a good idea to ask about parking when you book; oftentimes this is not available on-
site, or carries an additional fee.
The tourist office has details of rooms in private homes for around Dkr350/500 for
singles/doubles.

(Brandts and eating options are just outside the door), a well-travelled couple have estab-
lished this guesthouse above their home, with five fresh rooms sharing two toilets and a
small kitchenette. The prices are wonderful value; breakfast costs Dkr50.
