Another reliable nosh spot is this atmospheric restaurant in the cellar of the old town hall
(c 1430). Herring platters, shrimps, salads, a burger and open sandwiches feature on the
lunch menu. Come dinner, you might see racks of lamb paired with tzatziki and rosemary
sauce, or smoked salmon carpaccio prepared with breadcrumbs, radishes and cress mayo.
Vegetarians may struggle.

Slap bang on the main square (cathedral views included), this faux-bistro is a good place
to sit back and people-watch over abundant servings of tasty cafe grub. Edibles include
soup, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and salads, as well as more substantial pasta and meat
dishes. It's particularly handy on Sundays, when most of the town shuts down.
