Legoland
theme park celebrates the 'toy of the century' (as adjudged by
Fortune
magazine in 2000) in the country in which it was invented, also 'the world's happi-
est nation' (according to a Gallup World Poll). So you've got to believe Legoland
will be something special - and it is. Billund, the Lego company's hometown, is
positioning itself as 'Capital of Children' - theme parks, waterparks and an in-
spired new cultural centre (designed to resembling gigantic Lego bricks) make this
region Happy Families HQ in a country that's overflowing with child-friendly attrac-
tions.
