Hornbæk is hardly a gourmet mecca, but you will find refined nosh at husband-and-wife
team Thorleif and Minne Aagaard's charming thatched cottage right by the beach. With in-
spiration sourced from numerous cuisines, including Danish, French and Italian, you can
expect anything from lunchtime Kalix caviar with blinis, pickled onions and herb cream,
to evening homemade tortellini in a decadent Gorgonzola sauce.

pleasant pub-like atmosphere. The menu changes daily but you can expect to find solid
grub such as fiskefrikadeller (fishballs) with homemade remoulade or moules marinière.
