A well-spaced, low-key beachside camping ground east of Danhostel Helsingør and ap-
proximately 1.5km northwest of the town centre. Facilities include a shop and laundry, and
it's close to one of the area's best beaches. To get here, take bus 842 from Helsingør train
station.

There's a cluster of restaurants and beer gardens around the main square, Axeltorv. For
coffee and cake, head for pedestrianised Stengade.

salad, salmon pâté, and slices of pork, cheese and homemade ryebread. Leave room for the
Grand Marnier pancakes.
