Offers one daily bus-ferry combo to/from Poland (one way from Dkr400). Bus 866 con-
nects Copenhagen to Ystad in Sweden (1¼ hours), from where ferries travel to/from Świn-
oujście, Poland. Ferry crossings take between six and 8½ hours.

Operates buses to several European cities. The ticket office is behind Central Station.
Long-distance buses leave from opposite the DGI-byen sports complex on Ingerslevsgade,
just southwest of København H (Central Station). Destinations include:

Paris Dkr699, 19 to 22¼ hrs, 1 to 2 daily
CAR & MOTORCYCLE
The main highways into Copenhagen are the E20 from Jutland and Funen (and continuing
towards Malmö in Sweden) and the E47 from Helsingør and Sweden. If you're coming
from the north on the E47, exit onto Lyngbyvej (Rte 19) and continue south to reach the
heart of the city.
TRAIN
All long-distance trains arrive at and depart from Københavns Hovedbanegård (Central
Station), commonly known as København H, an imposing, 19th-century wooden-beamed
hall with numerous facilities, including currency exchange, a post office, lockers and left-
luggage facilities, and food outlets. Destinations include:

Aarhus Dkr382, three to 3½ hours, twice hourly
