Copenhagen's leading jazz joint serves up top Danish and visiting talent, with music styles
running the gamut from bebop to fusion jazz. Doors usually open at 7pm, with concerts
starting at 8pm. On Friday and Saturday, late-night concerts (from 11pm) are also offered.

Cosy and intimate, Copenhagen's jazz club veteran is a great spot to catch emerging
homegrown musicians and the occasional big name. If you're an aspiring jazz star, hang
around until late, when the stage is thrown open to songbirds in the audience.

The daddy of Copenhagen's live-music and club venues, Vega hosts everyone from big-
name rock, pop, blues and jazz acts to underground indie, hip hop and electro up-and-
comers. Gigs take place on either the main stage (Store Vega), small stage (Lille Vega) or
the revamped ground floor Ideal Bar. The venue itself is a 1950s former trade union HQ
designed by leading Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. Performance times vary; check
