Cafe, bookstore, and laundrette in one, this retrolicious Nørrebro institution is never short
of a crowd. It's an especially popular brunch spot, with both 'clean' (vegetarian) and 'dirty'
(carnivorous) brunch platters, strong coffee and fresh juices. Breakfast options include
porridge and croque madame, while all-day comforters span hamburgers (veggie option
included), chilli con carne, and a pear and goat's cheese salad.

Perched on the 8th floor of Parken football stadium, Geranium is one of ony two restaur-
ants in town sporting two Michelin stars (the other is Noma). At the helm is Bocuse d'Or
prize-winning chef Rasmus Kofoed, who transforms local ingredients into edible Nordic
artworks like venison with smoked lard and beetroot, or king crab with lemon balm and
cloudberries.
Kronor-conscious foodies can opt for the slightly cheaper lunch menus, while those not
wanting to sample the (swoon-inducing) wines can opt for enlightened juice pairings.
