Copenhagen's electronic music festival runs for a week in August. Considered the top fest-
ival of its kind in Scandinavia, its 60-plus events include workshops and masterclasses,
concerts, raves and parties across the city.
Copenhagen Cooking

Scandinavia's largest food festival serves up a gut-rumbling programme spanning cooking
demonstrations from A-list chefs, to tastings and foodie tours of the city. Events are held in
venues and restaurants across town, usually in August. A month-long winter edition takes
place in February.
Art Copenhagen
ART
This major, three-day art fair in September involves around 60 art galleries from Scand-
inavia and beyond. Showcasing a good number of contemporary artists from Denmark,
Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands, the event usually takes place at
Forum Copenhagen.
Copenhagen Blues Festival
MUSIC
For five days in late September or early October, Copenhagen celebrates the moody
sounds of the blues with this international music festival. The line-up includes both Danish
and international acts.

Usually held on the second Friday in October, Culture Night sees the city's museums, gal-
leries, theatres and libraries throw open their doors from 6pm to around midnight to those
with a Kulturpas (Culture Pass; Dkr90), with no shortage of special events. Public trans-
port is also free with the Kulturpas.
