In-Depth Information
Notice the option “Use Artboards.” By default, the first artboard (at the top of the
Artboards panel) will determine the dimensions of the SVG file. Artwork on other
artboards will not appear in the SVG file. If you wanted to save a series of icons,
for instance, as SVG, you could create artboards for each and select Use Artboards
to create a series of SVG files—one for each artboard.
5. Leave the Use Artboards option deselected and click Save.
6. In the SVG Options dialog box, click More Options. There are a lot of options for
creating the SVG, but the default settings work well most of the time. The Re-
sponsive option, which is selected by default, allows the SVG file to be resizable
using CSS.
