Replacing a linked image
You can easily replace a linked or embedded image with another image to update the art-
work. The replacement image is positioned exactly where the original image was, so no
adjustment should be necessary if the new image is of the same dimensions. If you scaled
the image that you are replacing, you may need to resize the replacement image to match
the original. Next, you will replace several images.
1. With the Selection tool ( ) selected, drag the gradient-filled rectangle off the left
edge of the artboard on top of the Kayak.tif image, centering it on the image using
Smart Guides.
