Open the Layers panel (Window > Layers) and click the visibility column for the
Background layer to show the black shape behind the other content on the art-
board. Click the lock icon in the edit column to unlock the Background layer as
well.

With the Selection tool, click the black rectangle in the background. In the Graphic
Styles panel, click the graphic style named “Number” to apply the styling.
