veal the Transparency panel. Change the Opacity value to

. Press the Escape
key to hide the Transparency panel and to return to the Appearance panel.

Click the visibility column (
) to the left of the Drop Shadow attribute name in
the Appearance panel.
Appearance attributes can be deleted or temporarily hidden so that they no longer
are applied.

With the Drop Shadow row selected (click to the right of the link “Drop Shadow”
if it isn't selected), click the Delete Selected Item button ( ) at the bottom of the
panel to completely remove the shadow, rather than just turning off the visibility.
