To learn more about the Art Brush Options dialog box, see “Art brush op-
tions” in Illustrator Help (Help > Illustrator Help).

With the curved path still selected on the artboard, double-click the brush thumb-
nail to the left of the text “Palm tree” or to the right of the name in the Brushes
panel to open the Art Brush Options dialog box.

In the Art Brush Options dialog box, select Preview to see the changes as you
make them and move the dialog box so you can see the curvy line with the brush
applied. Make the following changes:
