With the leftmost color stop still selected in the Gradient panel, change the Opacity

0%
.

Double-click the rightmost color stop (the black color). In the panel that appears,
with the Swatches button ( ) selected, select the color swatch named Water.
Press the Escape key once to hide the swatches.
