If you transform a shape with a gradient applied, such as scale or rotate the shape
(among other types of transformations), the gradient transforms as well.

Select the Selection tool in the Tools panel and Option-drag (Mac OS) or Alt-drag
(Windows) the window to the right to create a copy. Position it to the right of the
original, like you see in the figure.
