4. Position the pointer beneath the gradient slider, a little to the left of the white color
stop at the right end of the color ramp. When the pointer with a plus sign (
) ap-
pears, click to add another color to the gradient (circled in the figure).
5. Double-click the new color stop. In the panel that appears, click the Swatches but-
ton ( ) and select the swatch named “Window 1.” Change the Location to 87% .
Press the Escape key to close the panel.
6. Pressing the Option (Mac OS) or Alt (Windows) key, drag the color stop you just
created to the left (see the following figure for how far). Release the mouse button,
and then release the modifier key.
7. Double-click the new color stop, and change the Location value to 80% in the
panel that appears. Press Enter or Return to change the value and hide the panel.
