Tip
If you want to merge layers or groups, you could also select the layers or
content to merge in the Layers panel, and then choose Merge Selected
from the Layers panel menu ( ). In the case of the two groups you se-
lected, it simply creates a single group that contains the artwork from the
original two groups. If you were to merge selected sublayers, a single sub-
layer would be created.

Click the top <Group> object to select it in the “Shirt Front” layer. Command-click
(Mac OS) or Ctrl-click (Windows) the other <Group> beneath it in the layer to se-
lect both (see the figure for what to select). Drag the selected <Group> objects
onto the “Front Collar” sublayer to move them.
